Trump discusses Celebrity Apprentice at length. He calls contestant Jesse James “sullen” and says he was not nice to other people on the show.
He has mostly positive things to say about another Celebrity Apprentice contestant, former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Trump thinks he was smart and doing his best to use the appearance to appeal to a potential jury pool (Blagojevich’s trial for corruption was beginning shortly). Trump is optimistic that Blagojevich will not be convicted. (Blagojevich was convicted, and in 2018 Trump discussed commuting his sentence).
He talks about his daughter Ivanka’s marriage to Jared Kushner. Stern presses him on Kushner’s judaism, but Trump manages to remain diplomatic.
Trump talks extensively about Tiger Woods, who was going through a scandal for cheating on his then-wife Elin Nordegren. Trump seems unimpressed with Nordegren’s looks, but Stern in unable to get Trump to explain why. Trump doesn’t want to embarrass Woods, who he describes as a friend.
Trump also discusses Bernie Madoff, claims that he has not cheated on Melania (later proven false), his feud with Rosie O’Donnell, and celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred.
